Well thats true they are even matches, but if we where to focus on just articulation alone then Georgia bands would have to get the win, but If focus solely on power, I would give it to Mississippi Band, they are way smaller and packing alot, these are truly the best bands in Mississippi, but what most people do not know when the majority of there field shows, they do strictly core and music to fit, All of these band are Superior rated bands, and can hang with and Predominately white high schools, and they are known for having good concert bands, but Georgia is also known for that, it can not be a tie, but Georgia clearly wins, but Mississippi bands such as Greenville Weston, Provine, Murrah, Rosa Fort, and Clarksdale are all great bands and I hope to see them doing better things this year to focus more on not (Cranking) on focus on more musicianship...

Atlanta bands like SWD, Stephenson and MLK are all really famu-ish, most of ALL the directors in atlanta came from famu, so our band directors of course dont believe in "waxing" like a band director from jsu or su would. They focus on articulation, tone, staying in tune and size. I like Mississippi bands, because most of yall take after JSU and im a big fan of JSU. So I agree with you, but atl bands have power to

I agree with, you all have power and I am a real true fan of FAMU and all Atlanta bands, I hope to one day to direct a band in ATL....
But both have great bands, but im a huge fan of SWD, I just love they way they play, but the director of Greenville is an alumni of (Mississippi Valley) and our Assisst director is an alumni of (Mississippi State University) and our arranger is an almuni of (Southeastern Louisiana University) and other staff graduate from Alcorn State University but those styles come together and created Greenville Weston..
