You've got to give it to these guys. They've been named "Bed Intruder band" now they're the "Auto-Tune band" lol. Listen to the clips on their media page on Youtube. I've seen the band many times over the years and I don’t believe for one second that they sound that good.
What we hear on the clips is the use of advance audio filtering. They're cutting out highs, lows etc. basically cutting off excess sound. If you recall how smooth the marching bands sounded in Drumline, you'll agree. We all know Morris Brown NEVER sounded that great. But filter the audio, and you've got quality sounding material.
But credit must be give to their media team. The clip is awesome to watch but don’t be fooled folks.
And I wont' get on that fail at corps style...

Whats Corpstyle about that?? They sounded like this at the National High Stepping Competition. The same Videoagraphers used for that show also did the high School bands? the only Difference between the Nationals Footage is that the Mics were on the Field cause its more Raw.... Still the band is putting out Quallity Sound
Yes I looked at youtube videos form last year and compared them with vidoes from 2012 playing the exact same songs and on 2012 versions brass is so loud that you canbarely hear percussion but on youtube clips from 2011 their percussion section is very loud with same instrumentation for the most part in both videos. SOmething foesnt seem right same song very similar instrumentation but 2 very different sounds playing the same song and unless you loose number syour sound doesnt change that much in a year playin the same song. Something doesnt sound right. They sound like they have 50-60 trumpets in 2012 clips but in 2011 they don;t sound bad but they are no way as loud. Compare for yourself 2011 clips to 2012 clips!!!
it sounds good, i can tell there has been some editing.this clip isnt as bad as some others were on here when they were playing for spirit week or something like that..those clips were so played wit..go listen to them play moves like jagger..it should be one of the ones that pops up after this one is over.
Right, there's nothing corps about the show but they tried.
Now on to the audio. I have seen this band many times, in the flesh. And all of a sudden they have a clean sound???

"The creator," (he likes that) is only pointing out the use of filters in the audio. He's not saying the bands sound was increased for more volume. He simply pointed out that the audio was "filtered." So re-read what "the creator" is explaining.

@AGGIEMAN200!!!! Don't get mad, but I've been in and around this for over 20 plus years and heard FAMU with 60 trumpets and 50 Bones not sound like this as well as SU with 24 Bones and 36-40 trumpets JSU in their BEST years and I haven't heard anything like this before and this is the 1st game and other footage was from August 18. BUT I'VE NEVER REGARDLESS OF INCREASE OF NUMBERS HEARD ANYONE SOUND THAT MUCH DIFFERENT FROM YEAR TO YEAR.GTFOH! I counted and numbers were no more than a couple more if that in both section so Get The *uck Outta Here! You ain't gotta lie to kick it cause you are only playing yourself caus ethe more people that hear you inperson will be like... they dang sure didnt sound like this at the game.....
Listen carefully to this clip at the start. A limiter/compressor is used as you can hear the high being cutoff. Now the clips below is a test run... But the media team adjusted the filters until it cutoff at certain highs and lows in time for the fieldshow. Im not making this shyt up.
Grade A production going on here.
