Excluding your current band or favorite band, rate the OPPOSITION

Rate the opposition leaving out your band if you marched or have in the past, or your favorite band if you don't march. Describe in 2-3 words/statement. All opinions so nothing to get offended over.

So, I'm a big fan of TxSU so I will leave them out.

1. Southern - Precision, Swagger

2. Jackson State - Raw, Nice Book, not as polished

3. UAPB - musically/ field show sound, Bland

4. PVAMU - Agressive, don't like the book

5. Grambling - Nice come up, still need work

6. ALcorn - Regressive

Did not see enough of

AAMU, Bama State, MVSU

I was just thinking SWAC but why not expand it

ive only seen a few clips so i can't really say but no bullshyt. txsu seems like the best band so far this year...honestly they kickin arse.

I think they've improved their sound a bit

1. UAPB- Nice Arrangements and drills
2. Texas Southern- Solid Arrangments, and the drills are getting better each year
3. Jackson State- Has some volume
4. Alabama State

Haven't seen Grambling, Alcorn, Valley, or AAMU

Yep, when people exculdes their school you can kinda take the blinders off an get a more accurate assesment of who's doing what.

i nit-pick in all my observations...But I'd have to say, surprisingly...that Texas Southern is the best opponent we as a band have faced thus far...thats still not set in stone bcuz of the Bayou.

But Texas Southern is a powerhouse...They definitely deserve a spot somewhere in everyone's top 3

the band of the season for me would have to be AAMU. Beautiful sounds from them
