Female Drum major

Just out of curiosity will there any more female drum major's in the SWAC better yet in HBCU. I remember a few years ago their were three female drum major in the SWAC( Jackson State, Alcorn State, and i think Alabama State). It seems like having a female drum major was the hottest thing to do at that particular time. Me personally seeing a female lead a band had that WOW factor for me it was something i wasn't accustom to seeing. Also has there been any female drum major's outside the SWAC like in the MEAC.SIAC or CIAA?

you didnt mention TSU 2005's First Female Drum Major and Their 2nd female drum major. from 06 and 07
there hasn't been any more since.

I don't have a problem with a female leading a band. If she has the characteristics to get the job done and hold her own, I say go for it. I think its HOTT!!!

We (FVSU) had one this past year for the first three games, but she had health issues, so she had to switch back to our feature twirler.

surprisingly enuff not too many females want the job...

at least not at grambling...i'm almost positive it could happen tho, but i just havent seen that desire from a female since JSU's chick...

We had females trying out in 05,06 and 07.
