I personally know that great musicians can be man, woman, both..lol!, black, white or whatever. Now my question to Marchingsport is.......Do you think there should be any exceptions for woman who play drums or brass? I know physically there are some differences you have to be curtious of but that has nothing to do with the sound you produce. IF you take a look at TTB we got three girls in the section, and on every clip you see on youtube or whatever, you cant tell because we arent men or women, we are machines!........anywayz what yall think!?

i feel there should be no exceptions or no leniency given to women that play brass or drums.because once i saw st. mary's out of new orleans it gave me a different look at women in the band.those girls marched and played better than most bands with men in them.some women just try and use that we r weaker thing to get out of doin certain things
CB...lauren on trumpet jessica on trumpet lauren on snare phyliccia on tenor camille on trombone rosylnn on baritone kim on f horn ashley dudley on sax (first and only ever past present and future female dm) these are great examples of how a women can do anything a man can do...BUT with that said think of the countless females that have been cut over the years in these sections precentage whys girls tend to suck YEAH I SAID IT.
but the band needs girls gotta have pics and c-nets for real
if a girl can put out then let her march ...besides title 9 told Bama State in 75 that we could no longer discriminate...2 clarinets and a piccolo opened the gates for the band to be 30-33% female on any given year these days.
shot out yvette on trombone for intergrating the brass 1991
The first time i saw girl play drum was in 04, against TxSu in the Gym at Ala St. I mean you could tell she was a girl!....She didnt seem to off with her playing, but you still could tell she was a girl. I mean in our section you cant look like nothing but a machine! I saw a girl on SU cymbals too......you not only could tell she was a girl but she flashed like one too! St. Marys huh! Uma have to look them up. Like me an CB tell everyine on here we dont watch clips of pther bands unless Ala St. is on the other side!
man thats cuz them girls at state be men though bruh...lol i that chic from su was on this site i would'nt say i could point her out buth then again i just be wanting these cymbal players to sit down some where (hyperactive negroes)..but any way she looked good and dresses like a girl...you can trade cloths with girls like ashley and jaimee lol....remember jenae on trombone from 05...we got the same hair cut lol...

Nope. I've played trumpet since the 9th grade so I know where you're coming from. I personally can't stand when females use that excuse of being a different gender. You signed up for it...you should do what's asked/told.
