Well from what I hear HSHS was the better band....but honestly the bands both lack that killer mentality....good job Eastern's Tubas though.
killer mentality?? i can see HSHS not having any but i disagree wit eastern. Eastern always have had a great killer mentality (even in the auxilary)... that lil band gave big ole HSHS a run..... the only section that wasnt on HSHSs level was the trumpets. easterns mellos, btones, bones, tuba all dominated. there was a 3rd band there (CSRA sumthin) but they wasnt no match for eastern or HSHS.. i really wish the camera man had gotten eastern from the front.

yea i know yall battled them at yalls event but they only had less than 2 days to prepare for yall?? (remember....) and i bet the battle wasnt as good as this. this is the 1st time ehs has batttled hshs and people thought it was a big rivalry between the 2.?

killer mentality...watch bands from the NO or mine...I saw Eastern twice this year...
Size doesn't matter in the band world, hell even the Brooklyn Steppers are smaller than my band...but SMB has that killer mentality...hard to explain so I guess you have to wait until we show our +!@#$ at HU this year.

all im saying is that Eastern has what you say they dont.... sayin that is like saying they colors arent Blue and White, kinda crazy to me.. they might not Chant alot or approching a band to blow in they face but they Killer Mentality is in thier sound.
