    Thats when they could go out on the field in Nancy boots and tear sh*t up. I dont know if the new girls can move as gracefully as the old heads when it comes to doing field shows in the Nancy boots lol. I would like to see them bring it back.

    Me too. I would love to see them do some routines in Nancy boots again. Every dance team is wearing shoes nowadays on the field. I would even like to see a re-make of that uniform in royal blue or navy sequins.

    The Settes should bring back out the Nancy boots for field shows! And would love a remake of that routine.

    I would love it if they did the Nancy boots for field again, maybe for AT LEAST once a year? Maybe homecoming?

    But I don't feel like the moves from this routine are as intricate(rapid) as the newer ones.  Nancy boots are probably harder to dance in in the more recent ones...thinking about the one from Honda lol.

    That is true the moves aren't as intricate, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that the style has evolved over the years. The new school J-Settes are used to dancing at a more rapid pace than the old school; however the new school still have the elements of the old school tradition. As for Honda I could even imagine that being done in the Nancy boots lol.

    This is true but if you think about it, the J-Settes doing hard routines in boots was probably what made them so popular. You have to remember in the 90's there were other groups who wore boots on the field as well including the Golden Girls (Alcorn) and a few others but none of them were were doing flips and stuff in boots like the J-Settes did. Anybody can do a good routine in some flats these days lol.. I think it would be good for them to do another GOOD routine in the boots.
