SU got the W between two very good bands but only one was SUperior!!Zero-successful battle goes to SU.We run this town battle goes to SUEmpire state of Mind. It can't be phucked with. Period!JSU tried to slow it down and it back fired.Al Green was heard all the way back in N.O.Halftime- after all them years of SU doing the dmajor skit, JSU does one. Like I said,"We already home". But if yall wanna say yall won halftime okay. NOT! A marching band suppose to march. As for the Jsettes, bring them strippers back to the club yall found them at.Ask yourself this as a man or woman would you be proud to say I'm going to see my daughter shake her A$$ at the game for all the guys to look at?Fifth QuarterI can't go for that vs Carribean Queen? Recheck the clip homie. Trust I know what WE played. Al Green wasn't last year, empire state of Mind wasn't last year. And dat was Black and Blue. Please don't comment if you don't know what you are talkin bout.

i'm gonna give my opinion and this is based on me actually being at the game not from listening to clips but that does help the memory when u forget certain songs that were palyed.
zero-su easily
halftime-both weren't good (boosie got the loudest boo's ever since lil flip at the bayou)
fifth-again was disappointed with both too many old songs
now for the sectional

fhorns-jsu's only played whole notes and chords guess it was their version of a train lol
tpets-jsu screwed up chase

all these biased opinions..all you kats eaither go to Southern.... or are alumni of the university ... how can you even judge this battle..I would think if your band or if anybody band has a good program..yall would let the other folks that are not from neaither school comment.. on this battle....BUT DA WELL.....SU AND JSU do THIS EVERY YEAR..LOL..WHATEVER YALL LIKE IT AND I LOVE IT.......
in my opinion JSU was the better band..they had a fuller sound... southern did sound good somtimes... but there trumpets arent as strong as jacksons...and there mellos were out of tune.....tubas...well the tubas were them selfes.... as for JSU....B-tones were banging hard.... and so were the bones...... on some arrangments SU was the best..... but in all......... TO ME JSU... showed more that night...AND NO I DID NOT GO to THE GAME..I BASED MY OPINION OFF OF THE CLIPS THAT WERE JUST SHOWED...ALL RIGHT FOLKS

some folks like apples and some like oranges...... i feel to be fair about the whole battle some body thats not from eaither school should say somthing because, lets be real we all love our respected schools and I know I would be biased toward any band that faces TXSU...so when the fourm pops up..I dont say anything..I let the other bands and spectators from other schools talk for me... if they think we won then fine if they think we lost then..fine...if your program is really good then other people will defend it for you... thats what an old BD told me... well he's still kicking he's just old....all right god bless folks
