Yo this goes out to all the college musicians, symphonic and jazz trombone players in particular, do you think that Wycliff Gordon is better or Joseph Alessi? Give me some feedback.... Remember this goes out to all college musician trombone players.

  • Yeah Wycliff is hella good but Joseph alessi is one hard hitter... You gotta expand your musical horizons and listen to other and not stay in your comfort zone... He has technique alessi do but wycliff is good nonetheless... He was taught at Juliard same as Wynton... You know he's good.. Lol

  • JOSEPH IS MY CHOICE, ALTHOUGH IT IS A HARD DECISION, GOTTA GO WITH JOE THO
  • After listening to both, I prefer Wycliff....Both are awesome though. If I could describe the styles, it would be Wycliff is more of a Jazz festival/club player, while Joseph is more of a concert-styled player.
  • Wycliff is a monster!!!
  • Even though I'm not a trombone player I found this funny when I saw it cuz Wycliff Gordon's son, Clifford Gordon, is one of my crab brothers from 09 at JSU and we play in a jazz combo together. He is a cold ass sax player!!! Lmao. Guess it runs in the family...
