Like many of you, I read alot of these threads and notice that many of us have negative things to say about each others programs. Most of it is out of fun and good humor, but there are times when there is pure hate (and thats all good too). In stead of finding fault in others, I wanna see if the true bandheads are willing to discuss some of the things that could be better in your own band programs. If you could change or fix something that was a problem during the era when you marched, what would it be? This SHOULD be interesting.

Honestly there really isn't too much that I wouldn't change about my program...the only thing I can think of is the amount of games we attended when I was marching...Although we went to most games there were some we didn't attend but that's about it
Fa sho. Travel was never an issue with us, but I hear alot of programs have budget issues whereby they can only go to major performances or close games. That is a bummer.
smh.....notice how this particular thread is vacant.......quite a few band members have sum 'splaining to do,lol.....everytime u see sum random hateration go on, im post a link to this thread lol....thanx,Mills
I didnt think the thread would generate alot of response and thats cool: Its not a popular topic. However a wise man once told me "TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE". There are things that alot of our programs can improve on. But we shall see what happens before the good folks who run this site close it.
I'm like this some STUFF is just in-house this thread just like asking a NFL team which package to use against them on offense or defense on Sundays big gameyou not gon get an answer on here..and just cause you don't discuss it it doesn't mean you aren't one..lol
but to enterain the thread I would change going to ryans instead of golden corral....

Hell seasons over with now. Especially for the oldheads!! (LOL) But anyways. I wish we could have played a few more up to date songs on the field when I marched. The music we played turned out to be classics that alot of high schools imitated and bandheads grew to love so it is what it is. However I always thought there could have been other songs used to fit the precision drill.

anything wrong with ones program......ESPECIALLY with bands, is in plain sight......youre not being asked about your playlist for next season or your halftimeplans forthe next game....what is being asked is that you sweep around your own front door,as so many bandsmen on this site have preached and never practiced......anything less is an excuse :)
