Whats going on MS, Ive scanned through the site for years but Ive never found a reason to post or make an account for that matter. Ive been looking at a few clips on youtube and on this site, and it seems like SU had a new director this year, is this true? Who is he?

Oh ok, thats cool,I thought he looked like a guy I saw on some clips from 08.....is that someting that they nomally do at SU because I cant remember seeing that for as long as Ive followed the band (via tape).

The last time that I remember a student director was Bayou Classic Fall 2000 when Mr. Haymer directed his arrangement of Bag Lady. Juke correct me if I'm wrong.

Has Frazier had anything played outside of the bandroom? He's directed a few...but, nothing, that Ive heard, was his.
The only differences Ive seen is Haymer played with the band during the season, as a Senior, in '00, Frazier was in a director's suit this past season.
No I don't think he wrote anything for the band. I know that an 06 crab did this past year but I dont know if it left the bandroom.

Yea Juke, 06's Thomas Williams (09 trumpet sec. leader) wrote "Down" by Jay Sean, we played it i think twice but it never left the bandroom and Alex wrote a Whitney Houston tune that we played for about a week but it too, never left the band room
