Huntington High, Opelousas High, and Northwest High were no shows all others where there and in my personal opinion Scotlandville shut it down but Donaldsonville DM was a fool with it !
Please, Istrouma use precision march and sound, Scotlandville always have someone cheating for them

Dude just accept the fact that yall got second...AND SCOTLANDVILLE GOT FIRST...JUST GO BACK TO THE BAND ROOM AND WORK HARDER TO BEAT US...DAMMMM IF YALL WANNA BEAT US SO BAD QUIT PLAYIN AROUND AND WORK HARD LIKE WE DID...!!
The judges got it right in my opinion regarding the bands. It was the other categories that might have been a little shaky, but the bands were judged accurately. You can tell the judges were looking at two main things, drill execution and sound quality(which should be the two main things).
Baker lost because they had a saxophone player that made a major mistake. You can't make any mistakes when you are going against a band like St. Martinville. The reason why the score difference was by one point was because Baker sounded great, and most of the drill was well-executed, but that one mistake might have cost them 5-10 points. You can tell that they had this BOTB circled on their calendar for a while because that was the best I have seen them since my old BD left. St. Martinville had the drill execution while Baker had the sound quality. Since St. Martinville also had a good sound, you couldn't put Baker over them when they didn't have any noticable mistakes in their drill.
Scotlandville sounded better and executed their drill better than Istrouma. I think it was sound quality and a few people that were hesitant leaving the line and making transitions that cost them the championship. Plus, how could you go against a band that made fun of all the other BR bands?
McMain surprised me, their drill was actually nice(considering the stereotype of New Orleans bands) and they sounded great!! They came in third, because the small band division was highly competitive.
