Hello to all fellow bandsmen & women,

This is FrostyNacho and it's that time of the year again where we, as moderators, turn an open ear and listen to suggestions from you, the bandheads.

1st, I'd like to say that we appreciate you guys coming to bandhead.org and visiting on site.  Without you guys, we would have no reason to continue this site.  We have over THIRTEEN THOUSAND members and we appreciate that.  Thank you for all the videos you guys have captured and uploaded.  We have the largest video library and we hope that it continues to grow.  Because, whether you know it or not, you are capturing history that will be remembered for years to come.  And bandheads are glad for these videos and hope that you continue to make history.

2nd, I'd like to thank the bands for putting on the stellar shows over this past year.  I know directors of various schools often visit this site, so this is a special thank you from the entire Bandhead.org staff.  Thanks for the shows, for the opportunity for us to record and upload your shows on here.  While we can not control what people say, we are very happy seeing the footage and we hope to continue recording your awesome bands.  We are especially thankful for the passes that we've gained and allowed us to record and hope we continue gaining your support.

Lastly, to Gerard and the Bandhead.org staff.  It's been a pleasure working with you guys and showing the unbiasness (yea i made that up *lol*) towards your specific schools.  I know i'm just a moderator like you guys, but I know the kind of decisions we have to make to insure this site doesn't get too out of hand.  All I can say is keep up the good work mods.

Now, it's the time to open the floor for suggestions to you guys.  Now, there are some things we just won't change and we'll be glad to tell you what it is if you guys point it out.  It's not that we're being stubborn or being picky, its just that we've had these discussions in the past and the users in the past has come to an agreement about it (ie. high schoolers posting in the college forum).  But also realize that because you suggest it, doesn't mean it will be implemented.  It could be a fresh idea, but it ultimately comes down to the master plan for this site (and with Gerard).  But don't let that stop you from suggesting, we WANT to hear it.

I already know one thing somebody will suggest and that's more coverage from the bandhead.org staff.  We would love to make every game...every Saturday.  But realistically, we can not do that.  Most of the games we attend (aside from the media pass), it comes out of our own pocket.  That includes gas, food & lodging (if we have to stay the night).  I know why yall wonder JSU gets footage time more than others.  It's the fact that if money is tight, we have to settle going to their game to make sure we have "fresh" footage for the week.  We would love to go to the MCC, Florida Classic, SFC and all the other classics that people go to.  But sadly, we can't get everywhere with a limited staff and limited cameras. 

I hope that cleared things up and remember...."A closed mouth doesn't get fed."
