there have been many accusations about the memphis east marching band program to be "SORRY," I have started this dicussion board to get the opinions of memphis area high school band members. reply to this board with your opinion of the "AMP OF THE AMP".

East is okay. Did you guys get a new band director or sum. Cuz yall was good, i mean up there good, but now yall seem way closer to Douglas than to Melrose. But on a scale to 1-10 with 1 being middle school and 10 being S.U. Yall would be a 5(now). Which is good because High school is in the middle of middle school and college and thats where yall are. an average high school.
yeah mr.curry had fired Mr.Hardaway back in 06-07 and hired a core style band director, and everyone quit da band execpt me and a couple of ppl, but he gone now, den Mr.liddell came along, and he is a really good, he has built da band from nothing to something...and we are gettin better..
East is NOT sorry. I don't know no Memphis band that is sorry. I do know a few however who can not hang. But East is not 1. Yall seem like yall rebuilding. so imma give yall a few years.. We'll see. But how yall coming in Concert band? Cause last year yall got two 3s and a 2.

we got two 3s, a 2and and 1 and a superior rating in site reading....we comin along good we just had a clinic with da former band director of JSU and next week we will have one with Uof M band director before we go to the Mitchell Festival... and wat about melrose....do y'all even have a concert band?

Yea. We can't wait to play at Mitchell wednesday. We have some good music, and a nice, balanced sound. i can't wait myself cuz i gt a solo. I am really not a fan of concert band cuz when i was at Sherwood back in 08 we was making 1's just for showing up.but my gut telling me, we gone do good. how do u like yall music?

i lik it but i liked da other one cuz i had a solo in it but we changed sum stuff..... we're gona do gud, its piece we're gonna play and we think er'body gon lik it!
