Unfortunately, due to complaints, your membership to this site has been suspended.
It has come to my attention that Ray Dex has contacted new dance students at Texas Southern University. He has claimed to be a representative of Motion Coach, Jermani Justice, and Bandhead.org. Jermani does not know Ray.
Ray Dex has been using Bandhead as a platform to post whatever content he could find on the dancers. The problem is that he posts personal content and his alleged method of gaining access to the content that he posts.
To my knowledge, Ray has allegedly contacted high schools, parents and the girls via social media to gain personal information on dance lines recruits. He requests personal information from them claiming to work on behalf of bandhead.org and their university staff. He informs the girls of scholarships and tries persuading them to audition elsewhere.
In the case of the Motion of the Ocean, It's made the team very uncomfortable. They were informed to block any signs of Ray Dex.
Unfortunately, I can't control Ray Dex's actions beyond bandhead.org. I strongly advise him not to use bandhead.org's name when conducting his business. I have nothing against him personally, but I have to do what's in the best interest of bandhead.org. Ray Dex misrepresented our brand. It's my duty to protect this brand. Therefore, Ray Dex is not welcome here.
Major Note to Dancers:
My name is Joshua Cousin, an administrator of Bandhead.org.
You should know this by now, but as a member of HBCU dance lines, you have gained a fanbase that will follow you over social media and will discuss anything about your team and sometimes what they like or hate about the individuals on that team. We allow members to post freely here because it contributes to the ongoing conversations about the things they love and hate about our craft. Bandhead.org is also here for your participation. We welcome you.
If there is anything that on this site that you would like removed or other concerns.
Contact me Joshua.Cousin@nolalegacybands.org.

Nah, I understand His reason for claiming it was to bring people to the site. I talked to him about that a lot about it and supported it in the past. I knew he has using the site to draw folks into it. I thought it was a great thing. but I just wasn't aware of how he carried out his mission and to get this from the TSU camp. it was kinda hard to hear cause honestly I didn't want to ban Ray.the giant old threads were always confused me and iIreally didn't read them much.
I just don't want folks thinking that "someone from bandhead.org" contacted them as a specific dancer said.
I don't even talk to human beings normally, in a way, I wish this wouldn't have come to me via TSU because it comes across as bias. I'm pretty sure the's done this to dancers elsewhere too.

Ray does his part for a good reason... Just got through talking with the band director at Morehouse who confirmed that Ray has a working relationship with Morehouse's dance coordinator and they love what he does. otherwise, he doesn't work on their behalf,
That's part of the reason I know his intentions are good. I guess it's the method behind the madness.
