Real!! St aug didnt even have they whole band and still smashed them. Then walker came and all I got to say is OMG. Did st aug and walker plan that?? it was like a beat down 35 day!! lol. but even though 35 lost both times that was the best they sounded all year. they improved majorly.
1. Walker did sound good all that I can say on that.
2. I need to see some video cause Book and SMA talking bout we got smashed, which I don't care who you are is retarded especially seing how you , SMA, gave everybody props in the beginining but as soon as Book come on here with whatever that was, your story changes. Hmm??? Makes me wonder. Anyways post the vids and it will solve it all. If we took an L I will be a man and admit but if not, which I already know. Yall know what yall can do.
McDonogh 35 had the best baritones in New Orleans 2009-2010. Tipitinas was my last performance and I was proud to be apart of it. St. Aug and Walker's Btones knew what was good.
@BLACK. walker and st aug did sound good. Maybe saying yall got SMASHED was the wrong choice of words because it was a good battle. I gave everyone props in the beginning because everyone deserved props. BOOK had no influence on my comments because if you look at the first comment i posted i gave 35 praise for how they sounded BUT i never said yall came out on top. thats just my opinion. now if you wanaa go by who has the best btones, lol. all im gonna say is the first song 35 played was filled with btone power. 35 has one of the best btone sections in the city (in my opinion). You had your section right this year!! but i didnt make my judgement by sections, I made it by how each band sounded overall. all the bands did good but in each battle there can only be one winner and I made my choices. i hope you understand where im coming from.

SBW was good for a middle school but average for a high school.
Mcd35 was powerful. the loudest theyve been the whole year. a little sloppy but still good.
St Aug-Was nice and clean, and had a nice sound but they were missing people.(Tubas). but the 2 they had was loud.lol.
OPW was good but they song selections need to change at some point. but hey they sound good.
