I wish trumpet players stop trying to play loud or try to scream or somethin like that. Like most of the time when i hear marching bands i hear a lot of trumpet players taking notes up. No problem. but when you take up only certain parts of the song up it dont sound good. if your going to take up something on the song take up the whole song. Also when u know u cant play the note with confidence or you know u will crack dont try to take it up. thats just let me know u trying to play above your level and your not succeeding. SO JUST STOP TAKING UP NOTES U KNOW U CANT PLAY!!!!!

i know the whole song not suppose to be taken up..>>but think about it..>>Some trumpet players take up parts of a song thats meant to be played down..>>Like me when i take up a part its sound good and go along with the song..>>but when its time to crank on another school all i hear is the other school tryna blow our section out..>>and they be sounding bad..>>now when we play the song as written before the tuba breakdown they think we suck..>>now when we come back in we demolish them.
