What are Mellos

every time i watch another marching band i hear about mellos in the band. In my band i have no such thing call a mello. What are they?

mellophones.

your band probably has marching french horns

in concert band you have french horns. Mellophone (mello) in the marching version of it. it look different. search online for Mellophone to see a pic

They are marching instruments usually pitched in the key of F.
