WHO REMEMBERS BACK IN DA DAY ...BEING EXTREMELY DISCIPLINED IN HIGH SCHOOL BAND...IM NOT GONNA USE THE "H" WORD....IT DOESNT SEEM LIKE HIGH SCHOOL BANDS 2DAY ARE GETTIN THE SAME TREATMENT...BUT DID IT MAKE U STRONGER...TOUGHER...WHAT??SHED UR LIGHT...THEN SHARE UR WHO REMEMBERS MUTUAL MOMENT...PASS IT ON

Extremely Disciplined ??? At my school they try but it doesn't work Them band directors get talked bad to ! lol At games we run around and do whatever we want...as long we dont do nuthin crazy and out of the ordinary, they dont care. And as far as cussing we have chants that have cussing in it they dont care i dont think they even understand what we sayin. as far as discipline goes the section leaders take care of that as long as we play our music and dont embarrass the band then we good.
Wow...now I see why Central looks and sounds the way that it does. When I was there, 2002-2005, we had that discipline on lock cuz Mr. Meredith didn't play that. Breakin traditions? What was that? If you even thought about doin wrong, he would front you out. Cussin in chants? I don't think I heard cussing in a chant until I got to college.

Hexx Yea I remember goin to the games when I was little Mr. Meridith Didnt play....lol I remember ppl would be dancin and actin crazy and as soon as he turned around everybody hurried up and sat down but the band director we got now..is...ughhhh If Meridith was there we would be on point ! We dont do the Tiger run during the field show we do it before the game WTF ? some of the stuff they come up with is just plain stupid

Not gon lie, I got hazed in high school....in front of the director. He knew what wassup and didnt care. Just as long as we were tight, everything was all good.
Yea back in the day Miami Central Senior High School Marching Rockets used to be the number 1 band in the country. smh its a shame that Dr. Chipman left. Im really hoping things will change.
