Yes, I was in the World Famed and we all marched during halftime. It just so happened that PV's football team was given the death penalty by the NCAA for violation against rules. During that time PV's main game and pretty mcuh only travel games was the Dallas game, so can you imagine practicing for your one and only big game and after it was over your season was pretty much done!!! Must say being in the world famed the show had flaws, but we went up against two bands and did pretty well. It don't matter just don't bite it. We had a large band and laid on all bands that year. At the Bayou classic we performed pregame, halftime and post game with totally different shows and we had other different dances we could have done. See back in those time we had many dances and songs we could have did on a band and wax that behind and that is what makes us very different. Most band have only one or two different dances that they change songs to, but not the G.
One, we got shot at during the game. Two, it is funny looking back now but the road trip had ton of problems (bus problems), Three, the football team has not been back and now the football team is struggling.
But I well say that in my era (early '90s) PV was one of the most impressive bands I saw. Much Respect.
