from what i saw this season so far.1. su- always have good drills glad they finally changed up some things with their drills and doing new ones keep it up juke box.2. gsu- wow great drilling this season formations are nice... just look for to seeing newer betters ones this season. and they are also longer this season too great job.3.uapb- well i give uapb and gsu the spot for 2 or 3 due to they both are doing great drills so far this season, but uapb shows have made a big come up since 02 my crab year.4.alcorn- sorry but yall use to be up their with su now i dnt know what happen to yall drills. the formations are having to drive to them just walking an playing, thats not the alcorn im use to seeing as of drilling.5.txsu- formations are nice but i saw much better from txsu but by far a great band.6.jsu- sorry jsu i crabbed n 02 i saw yall wayyyyyy better than what yall are on the field real talk even yall can admit that. if yall would do like yall do in the stands on the field, yall would have the total package.7.aamu- use to have nice diamond formations but yall style changes up too but yall drills are ok. they tend to be kinda boring and not draw the crowd.8. pvu- all i have saw from yall is pvu fanfare and that little small circle thing. i dont kno if drilling is not yall thing but drilling is not where yall mastered at. yall can even say that. but good field shows doe.9.bama st- i dont kno man... wen bama was 80 deep and 150 they were ok on the field now its too much and just NOISE. oliver was my director in dayton ohio and i know what that man wants an field shows are not what he puts his all into and it shows.10. mvsu- i think yall are really doing good on the come up and all but how many years can we say a hbcu are on a COME UP!!! THEY NEED A DIRECTOR OVER THERE WHO IS NOT GOING TO PLAY AND JUST PLAIN OUT BE A ASS AND GET THEM TO WHERE THEY USE TO BE.this is my opinion and then again im a old head who have saw all 10 bands at their best and worse!!! but post yall opinions too. Some bands just think they are a beast and have no problems but they really do. my little brother is a crab at one of the above schools and im by far disappointed at what im been told!!!! but thats a different thread lmao... but post yalls

i agree 100 0/0 with everything you just stated.the only band that can maybe dethrone the jukebox from number 1 is gsu.jsu got too many issues going wrong in their drills and to me uapb dont show enough energy in theirs.every1 else is a while away from moving up to those top 3 spots.
i agree dre but to be a great drilling band u must have energy, doing a drill that makes the ppl wanna watch, good music is as important as what drill u r doin and make that good music heard.its nothing worse than watching a good drill but u cant hear the music or watching a boring drill and not being able to hear the music either.
I too agree with what you stated...SU by far is the best drillling band.....Their drills are flawless and the energy they put out on a week to week basis is always consistent...Love yall
2. This is unbiased, but i definately think that my tigers of GSU have stepped the drill game up BIG TIME, they are looking so good this year, the drills are nice...keep it up..The energy has always been there.
3. UAPB, good drills,....can be a toss up with 2 and 3....
i just think gsu brings more of that excitement factor with their drills than uapb. i personally prefer that u never know what u gonna get in a drill rather than just nice.so i still say gram is a lock at number 2
I will agree that Alcorn has good drills but this year their energy as far as field entrance to drill is down compared to previous years..in the past i always felt the electricity from the marching and drilling. I think Txsu is doing good drills this year too...but SU and GSU are definately doing it this year in the drill dept.
that drill gsu did in little rock was great i mean great from start to finish i gotta say that... but alcorn is not drilling better than grambling @ all this season. but its also on to each its own basis. but from wat i saw that is my list i made hay lol
Honestly I would put UAPB and Alcorn (from a few years back) higher up than I would Grambling. Drill wise, UAPB is probably one of the most underrated bands in the SWAC.
I DONT THINK THEY UNDERRATED... I JUST DONT THINK THEY GET MUCH EXPOSURE AS THEY NEED TO BUT THEY WENT TO HONDA LAST SEASON SO.... UAPB IS STR8 IN MY BOOK. I HAVE NO ISSUE WITH THEM @ ALL.
