To Sonic, what are you talking about? Its put on buy basically a organization for high stepping bands like BOA has for its bands... its just that were "Smaller" than BOA, but means alot to our bands.
To Storm Quint, Since when was the state of Texas the officiall State of the Country? if ya want your state represented... then just tell ya BD's to just SIGN YOUR BAND UP!! Its YALLS FAULT that Tx isnt represented!
To Whitehaven, good job.. Finally a GOOD representative of the SWAC style wins or even do a decent job at Nationals cause i tell ya, the past Swac style bands that performed were AWFULL!! and they was the one crying why didnt their bands get past preliminaries lol

So now that is done....This comp. is "BS" it is simply a "cash cow", The biggest ripoff of the comp. was Southern Durham's Drummajors Not placing at all;They have the best DM's in the country! hands down, If you don't think so try them up at after any comp. Then there dance team got nothing- The haven't lost since like '04...WTF??? And on top of that Thomasville won that (2A) class and had the highest score of the day??? Word on the street is Southern has been kickin The state of NC for about 2 years now...I dont even think Thomasville hasn't won their class at any comp. this year. but they win at nationals? come on - I could go on with how retarded this comp. was but I dont have the time...I dont suggest anybody going to this comp. (and Southern Durham was not the only bad to gett robbed; Westover and E.E. Smith's flags got worked over pretty good!) Im not saying that any of these bands are better than Whitehaven, but I know Southern is way better that Thomasville!

2nd in the 2A SD never had best Danceline in the past... Last year it was Ballou who won best Danceline with Henrico 2nd cause they got points deducted
3rd I seen SD's Drumajors on videos and they not THAT good
4th Thomasville had the highest score of the day....... DURING PRELIMINARYS, not finals.
5th. it doesnt mater how well your and does at HOME, Henrico been doing well in competitions in VA but Highland springs( a better from the start) beat them in nationals... i didnt even know NC had enough comps to judge how a band would do in Nats.
6th Westovers and EE's Flags are not THAT good. especially at Last years comp where BALLOU won best Flag overall
