small category: 3rd place was sterling, 2nd Reagan from austin, 1st was worthing. MEDIUM CATEGORY: 3rd Memorial, 2nd Royal, 1st Austin High, BIG BAND:2nd place North Forest and 1st place WILLOWRIDGE..But ozen won the sweepstates idk how cuz they didnt place. they were good tho
well in my opinion wassom was one of the best. but most bands need to learn to march and know what line to stop at! north forest has potential but it seems like they take the dance routine more serious than the drill...milby was good too. the bands were better than i expected

I thought that a lot of the bands improved greatly. I will mention a few who I thought stood out.
Booker T. Washington- Nice sound, nice drill, nice dance routine. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the baby Ocean..
McKinley- That drill was OMG
Royal- I thought you guys did well. Nice drill, sounded great.
Jones- I would give you guys the award for the Most Improved Band.
Sam Houston- Just the fact that you guys showed up says a lot. I see a bright future for Sam High..
Port Arthur Memorial- No lie, I thought you guys had the Medium Division. Great show.
Reagan- The best sounding Band the entire night.
Now to my own band- STEPHEN F. AUSTIN
All the hard work has finally paid off. Although we have had a rough two weeks, the results show. Congratulations guys. Remember to stay Humble yet prepared for battle. This is the first of many to come. As I said before, someday Austin will be in the band ranks of St. Augustine, Willowridge and Southwest Dekalb. We are not to that level yet but heading in the right way. Keep praying and working hard to make this happen.
willowridge kept the class and character but had a fresh look. different drill style different songs that i never heard from them. Good job ridge! Austin sounded nice. and had a good dance routine concept
i dont either... usually sweepstakes goes to the band with the overall highest score. but if they had the overall highest score they wouldve placed in their category right?? hell iono. This was a good battle of bands 85 percent of the bands were worth watching. The small band was the most competative. Besides the cold this was a memorable botb.. What happend to PV performing?

This was one of the better mlk botb...ozen beat worthing by one point with a score of 1141...a few bands that stood out to me was mckiney or something like tht from louisana and reagan frm austin because both bands drill was great...in the medium category i disagree wit the outcome....the ridge did their thing...oh yea davis,sam houston and jones has potential
