  • Come on Amechi, you suppose to use and always stay on that 6 1/2 Vincent Bach
  • I use a Holden 64. Its great for the high register. The highest note i've hit so far was a super F. Usually I sound like a mello but when I hit that F I sounded like a screaming trumpet whispeering. If you want power, use a 6 1/2 megatone. I had to use the 6 1/2 Bach my freshman year though. It was mandatory.
  • they makin you play on that 6 1/2 at SU?

    B-TONE MOUTHPEICES
WUS GOOD FELLOW BAND HEADS..FOR ALL B-TONES WAT KIND OF MOUTHPEICES DO U GUYS USE?.. KINNDA LOOKIN TO CHANGE MASELF TELL ME WAT MOUTHPEICE U USE AND…
  • 6 1/2 megatone is the loudest mouthpieces
  • I suggest a 6 1/2....
  • 6 1/2s are for babies if you ask me... You need a mouthpiece that puts out REAL power. Something from the LOUD MOUTHPIECES [LM-47] line will always get the job done, but other wise I would suggest a 5g and if you think you can handle it a 3g. They are deep mouthpieces and hard to get used to but believe me they put out that power.

Those mouthpieces I suggested are also great for that round mellow sound and stability at softer volumes.
  • I suggest a vincent bach 5G or 3G
