well my opinion is that 2day i would say southern but back in the late70's 80's and early 90's it was gsu. there wasnt a school around the south that didnt have a gsu alum as their bd even in junior high.but when gsu fell off southern took over and i dont see that trend changing anytime soon
now famu has an excellent program but its hard to put their style of music into a high school program because their arrangements require a certain level of musicianship and kids are just not there anymore.
