Comerica Bank has announced its newest addition to it's "09" New Year's Parade,... the Greater Houston All Star Band Inc.. The national televised ( FOX Network) parade will take place on January 1, 2009 in Dallas,TX as a part of the AT&T "Cotton Bowl Classic.The GHASB Band Staff will meet with interested new and old members on Saturday, December 12, 2008 at 11am (place TBA) to discuss our winter performance schedule,... in addition we will unveil our newly purchased "traditional band uniforms ".PLEASE NOTE:Winter practice ( ... for our New Year's Day performance) will begin on December 26, 2009 from 12 noon till 4pm (placeTBA)Additional questions or concerns may addressed directly to the GHASB Staff at houall_star01@yahoo.com .

... Yes in order to particpate in this televised parade all bands have to wear "traditional" band uniforms ... AND our staff is working on a possible surprise historic trip for (hint .. hint...) January 20, 09 .... and we have to wear traditional uniforms as well... stay tuned for more details..
