This year is the 75th Magic City Classic and both Dance squads have been on point. So much competition between these two squads. However, like every year the Divas will come out victorious. Thoughts?

Somebody need to get Queen Danni to wave her magic wand for MCC 2016!
I think its gonna be good, I pray the weather is great, as for my Stingettes...this yr no MCC 14 type wigs, no Auntie wigs, and no more ponytails, how about some Diana Ross-esque curls and two Lisa Porter inspired uniforms. Dr. O please give Tey a buffet of songs to dance off with her new counts in the stands, BAND play on BEAST MODE like you have JSU, SU, and Miles all in front you trying to play in your face,and give Queen Tey her BREAKOUT MCC Ballad...we MUST have a MCC ballad this yr.. and MCC moments in general. I am positive the field will be great.
Yes, I'm super ready for classic. The divas have been doing their thing this year and they killed it with womanizer last year. Of course people will ride for the stingettes due to their increased popularity over the years; however, the divas know what they have and how to use it. I know their show will be fan-damn-tastic. Hopefully, the weather will permit s we can get a good show from start to finish from both bands.
Honey Queen Dannie has been waving that magic wand everywhere and making it happen. She came through and waved that magic wand at my job and I got a nice bonus at work and plus she's a fellow libra. This should be a good battle for the squads. No shade, but I think it'll be much better if Tamera lead the entire game. I love Montoya, however she has a very cute and prissy still, that doesn't scream battle mode "We here bish, let's break nails!!!". Tamera has that walk in the door, look everyone up and down 5 times, knock the potato salad and sweet potato pie off the dining room table, slap that cook and dare the pastor to say something about it, attitude. She's always battle ready and has that battle presence. The only Diva captain that had that mentality were Curtisha, Jocelyn 05, and Jazmine 2011 (sometimes).
As for the stingettes, I expect Tey to do a pretty decent job in the stands, if she can get the rest of the squad to look like they're into the battle.
Uniforms from both should be nice. The stingettes uniforms are starting to get nicer and look better in quality. And the Divas are starting to increase their uniform creativity and volume.
The field will probably go to the Divas, because they've taken the field from 2011 on up.
The stands should be very interesting for both. The Divas have come up big time in the stands and the Stingettes have that sophisticunt-factor with a lil touch of hood in the stands.
This year weather permitting should be a wig snatching good time. Debating if I'm going to attend this year.

It's been confirmed We have 2 or 3 major band videographers at the MCC. No worries at all!

I'm sorry, but anyone pretending as if the Stingettes are hitting on anything this year is living in Trump Land. Yes, the Stingettes have progressively gotten better since the start of the year, but the bar was set verrrrrrrrry low by them, for them, at the start of the year. With that in mind, the Stingettes are nowhere near where they've been, at this point in the season, in years past, and nowhere near where they should be heading into a classic; this is coming from a ride or die Sting Sting Stan.
Uniform choices for the Stingettes, all year, have been questionable at best. Am I the only one who saw them in that nonsense of a breast cancer awareness uniform? I'm sure Lisa is somewhere spitting tar. On the field, I applaud Ty for trying to push her team to be a more technical group, but some teams are just better stylistic dancers; her team is one of those teams; embrace it! So far as the stands are concerned, for the past five or six years, the blogs have been rocking and would be rocking at this point in the season, with how the Stingettes are beastin' and slayin' in the stands. Not this year. Those girls are a snooze-fest! And, every other week we get a different combination of dancers in the stands; eight girls, eleven girls, nine girls, ten girls... I'm over it!
Ty is a great dancer, but she seemingly lacks the vision, style, and killer instinct of her predecessors. If Tamera is leading the Divas into the Classic, there isn't much of a battle that will be had this year; Ty's head and the rest of the Stingettes heads will come clean off. The Stingettes only prayer is if Montoya leads. The end.
