  • This kind of mess killed my middle school drumline....
  • Wow the general rule of thumb is 10pm all quiet...

2:43pm? 8:45 at night? on their school grounds?!?!?!?!

    GTFOH!!!!

  • Why live around a school if you can't handle noise?...smh
    • RITE!!!!
    • I know the people around our neighborhood were catching it. Our practice field was right in front of their houses, and you could easily hear our band throughout the entire city. I think they just got used to us practicing from 3-5:30.
      • Same with us man. Tallahassee made a noise ordinance of 11pm. Since our practice field is on the highest elevation in Tallahassee, our sound travels across the city. The neighbors are used to it though. LOL.
  • Damn I guess they dnt care that this band represents the community....and ANYTHING that you want to be perfect has to have time being put in it....MOVE if you dnt like the noise...how do you expect to live near a bandfield and not hear the band
  • Well I went through this same thing about 2 weeks ago. I practice at little rock central highschool and the second day I marched back from the field to my campus(which is about 6 blocks). I had complaints and the police were called. I even made the six o'clock news. This was after the second day of going to the field.

  • happened to us.....we used to use a field that was in the neighborhood next to our school but they wanted us out. so instead of telling us they didnt enjoy us practicing there, they planted a big ass garden where an open field used to be. now theres grapefruits growing where we used to march. smh
