Fans still cheered wildly at the University of Wisconsin football team's first Big Ten Conference home game. Blaring horns and bass drum beat, however, were conspicuously absent after band director Mike Leckrone suspended the band indefinitely Friday because of serious hazing allegations. Officials continued to be tight-lipped about the allegations that led to the suspension, which Leckrone said were alcohol-related and involved "inappropriate sexual behavior." We had dancing and disrobing taking place that made some people feel not only uncomfortable but also unsafe," [assistant to the chancellor Casey] Nagy said. ... In addition to inappropriate dancing from semi-nude band members, Nagy said one band member had his head shaved in an apparent hazing incident.     Do you know the history of PWC's and HBCU bands number one? Every band don't shave their heads, the only SWAC bands that does that are SU,UAPB and i think PV, at GSU we have low military style cuts and everyone else has dreds galore lol! So i feel you think SU created going bald! Smh!

    This hazing case was not nationally broadcast because its acceptable in white bands. Its not too big of a deal to them. I know white folks who marched in college bands and they are die hard about they shyt...those clear people go hard!

    These backwards negroes at HBCU's like to tattle tell and do children shyt....

    Well when someone has to go to ICU information will leak out fast! Hazing and Brutality are two different things! Hazing doesn't have to be physical! Great hazers don't even have to touch a person, now if you don't know what the f_ck you're doing,just showing off and not trying to teach anything that's a different story and it seems that's happening a lot these days! When you just go to meetings to whup up on someone because you received the same treatment and at the same time you don't have a clue why are you doing it, you're just trying to fit in with everyone else to make you seem raw, that's when the sh!t hits the fan!
