I remember when Alcorn and Valley had a flag team of about 25 flag girls (when valley was a bigger band)..in the 80's 90's and Mid 2000's What happened? Will they ever return?

I think the Purple Flashers were disbanded by Murray because of hazing. Don't know what happened to the MVSU Devil Angels. At halftime the band would surround the Devil Angels in a circle and they would change uniforms and out came the Dance Team. I think this is where Golden Delight got their concept from, Valley was during this in the late 70's! Again, the key words are I think!
Wow, I did not know that the Purple Flashers were disbanded for hazing... Lawd why!!!!... They were my favorite flag team to watch perform, they were a beast in the late 80's into the 90's.
