  • I try to be. Was there for most of camp helping out people with the marching. But really...gets annoying to hear alumni talk shit about their high school band as if they are worthless. If it was not for some part of that band, you would not be who you are today. If your BD aint at your school, instead of down talking them, go introduce yourself as an alumni and show support because those kids are there now for what you did back then. Too much talk and not enough PRIDE
    • I hate people who do that.  I love my high school band and will do anything for them for real.  Im really hoping the states doesnt shut em down next year.

       

       

      • i know. NFISD been through alot!! but those alumni who do nothing but talk shit...need to go do something with they life or start their own band! These kids take that talk to heart and follow the ignorence rather than heart

  • I go back when I can.. always stay in contact with the BD. I write some music for them and talk to the section leaders about what/how to work on certain things with everyone in the section
  • Yes I'm very active with my high school program, in fact I'm the Band Director, lol
