This not even a battle. Alabama State sound filling up the stadium. U can tell Albany sound ain't goin nowhere and they right infront of the camera. lol. And I'm sayin this after playin AlaSU this weekend at JSU, no bias.....
Aye, The CROWD won this battle man (Do you hear those cheers? Wish I could've been there... probably will be next year if it's like this).
BOTH bands were pushing and more composed than last year (barring the slight tempo issue at the beginning of Albany's set). Albany is louder on this clip, for obvious reasons, but I think the volume difference between bands was minimal (Alabama may have the edge on that though). Shout out to the Albany's whole band, but to the trumpets in particular for representing how a section should sound as opposed to a few suckers getting their shine on by screaming a few notes (Same applies to Ala.'s trumpets too. It's more evident from this front angle). This is a draw in my book.
Even though I went to Morehouse, I'm proud of Albany man, ya'll repped HARD for the SIAC in this clip. Good stuff man, good stuff.
PS: This clip proves that it's possible to have 2REAL ASUs.
i feel you and I agree with you 100%. both bands were great.
