has anybody ever been physically hurt from ur instrument,ex.my hand has gotten snapped thousands of times by my trombone slide,i waz wondering if it waz just me.lol

On my Alto...keeps hitting me in the face and neck...Tenor always hits my knees when i march cuz we do what PV's Saxophones do...the dip on 1 and 3 lol....it never fails, it'll always hit me in every performance...mainly when we march in...gets annoying.. part of my octave key has sliced my hand before...IDK how!!! lol
oh and i know it may not seem possible on a woodwind instrumnet but i have busted my lip on my alto when that was my primary instrument...my lip busted and then my reed cracked in half...aint the first time that happened either!
How about numerous blisters and splinters from reed wood?
I almost strangled myself with my neckstrap.
Somehow I managed to make my fingers bleed through the fingernails while playing my horn
Once I dropped my tenor sax on my foot....smh
Oh...and improper embrochure on a sax mouthpiece WILL jack up your mouth. How many times have I bit the hell out of my inside lip because of improper embrochure....smh....
this is turnin out 2 be a funny thread,but dis freshman snapped his hand 4 da first time and he said he couldnt play his horn and he wanted 2 go home,.im like dude,dat happened 2 me 2dayz ago but my handz waz bloody u betta play yo got dang horn.lol
