On Friday, May 4th, Stephen F. Austin HS is hosting a battle of the bands at Barnett Stadium Fieldhouse (basketball arena) at 6pm. Im requesting that TXSU and PV band members come out and represent wearing band shirts or bring anything that shows program pride.
Both bands are also welcome to set up a display table with photos and/or video display. Anything you think will catch people's eye and get them interested in your program. Additionally members of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma may contact me for community Service hour for this event.
This event is open for all college students to attend if you are in the Houston area around that time. You can wear your shirts and represent too. I just want my students and other students to see that our college band students are for real about representing.
