I am a percussionist. And a senior in high-school what would I need to work on specifically for my audition piece. I am trying to attend Bethune Cookman University. I curly attend Tri-cities High school. Eddy should I work on specifically

As a current Bethune-Cookman University Marching wildcat and music major, i would encourage you to audition on multiple percussion instruments. This would definitely demonstrate your versatility and musicianship which would mean more $$. But, just doing a snare audition would be fine. Just make sure you're practicing your stuff...
Any recommendations on a specific skills. As far as requirements. What is Mr wells looking for. I can play baritone, trombone and sousaphone. But percussion is my strong point.what is he looking for. Scales, reading, what does he penalize for or look at the most

Our auditions usually consist of scales (Major), chromatic scale, prepared piece/solo, and sight reading.
ok. any ideas on which instrument the audition might hold the most weight
Just go with which ever instrument your best at.
