I am a percussionist. And a senior in high-school what would I need to work on specifically for my audition piece. I am trying to attend Bethune Cookman University. I curly attend Tri-cities High school. Eddy should I work on specifically

  • As a current Bethune-Cookman University Marching wildcat and music major, i would encourage you to audition on multiple percussion instruments. This would definitely demonstrate your versatility and musicianship which would mean more $$. But, just doing a snare audition would be fine. Just make sure you're practicing your stuff...

  • Any recommendations on a specific skills. As far as requirements. What is Mr wells looking for. I can play baritone, trombone and sousaphone. But percussion is my strong point.what is he looking for. Scales, reading, what does he penalize for or look at the most
  • Our auditions usually consist of scales (Major), chromatic scale, prepared piece/solo, and sight reading. 

  • ok. any ideas on which instrument the  audition might hold the most weight
