OK, OUT OF THE 10 SWAC BANDS AAMU, ASU, ALSU, GSU, JSU, MVSU, PVAMU, SU, TXSU, AND UAPB....YOU HAD TO MAKE 5 JOINED MASS BANDS MEANING PICK ANY 2 BANDS TO JOIN, TO GO AGAINST ANOTHER 2 BANDS JOINED, WHO WOULD YOU PICK, AND WHY....

for me:
gsu+uapb: similar style and both hav a dark rich sound that would go nice together
jsu+mvsu: jsu's high brass would really bring out the valley's arrangements
su+txsu: just think they would be a good fit playing wise n would like to see how su's sound would be with txsu's tubas i admit they bring the boom
pv+alcorn: just ...well....idk that would just be something to see lol
aamu+asu: a great rivalry between 2 good programs is always a good show but if they came together as "The Alabamas" then who knows ....
bands not to put together:
gsu + su: askin for a fight before warm-ups lol
su + jsu: tooooooooo much power would be the result of that
aamu + alcorn: semi corp style n a nice show band wouldnt mix right
jsu + gsu: that would be a true example of low brass sittin on top of the band (i.e. btones, tbones, n tubas)
It's fun to imagine! But I don't think the SWAC bands are compatible enough with each other to get much accomplished. From the BDs on down the the EQ staff, there will be too many egos and feelings getting in the way...lol
But if you want to take an interesting route, how about pitting the SWAC EAST against the SWAC WEST. Would that matchup even be fair though? ~shrugs~

Sorry, but that SU and TXSU combo would be unstoppable. I can't see any of the other possible combos coming anywhere near this one.
SU and GSU fight?? I can't speak for them but we don't get down like that with the backwoods folk from up North. I can see if you said Jackson State, but not Grambling.
