What does WSSU have to do with us, do you think we really look forward to that game LMAO. We have only played WSSU since 06 when they joined the conference and if u want to be technical we actually got bigger as the season went on.

Band sizes 2009 season
What do you predicts band sizes for MEAC and SWAC schools will be for this upcoming season based on 2008 and why?
As far as Swac goes...my predictions are as follows...
Alcorn- probably stay the same...because they look the same every year and they are reall in the middle of nowhere and being that they are in Mississippi,students will most likely go to jackson first
A&M-i guess about 180, i predict a lotta tubas and trombones and i got a small feeling there high brass will get just a lil bigger.
Bama- i guess around 350 but i seriously doubt they will take the advice and clean up there sound.i mean its exciting when your a big band but you still have to sound good.
Mississippi Valley- you know,too me,this past year they seemed like they was really trying more than usual.had a good sound for there size being a swac band and all.i honeslty think they will be a little bigger.maybe add a good 40 people to what they had this year.MAYBE
UAPB-this is hard to predict cuz there a different kind of swac band.i honestly think they will stay the same size as this year because you dont hear too much about them
Prarie view- i feel like PV will be a good size this year.in 08 they brought sum intensity to the game and they have a good sound...if they can get there bones and trumpets back up i think they will be a pretty good force in the swac.
Tx. southern- idk about this band.Seem to be the same size EVERY year to me.but txsu is a pretty good band in the swac.seem like they are losing trumpets.if they can gain sum trumpets back and maybe a few more bones then txsu will be beastin even more.
Grambling- (deep breath) honestly, Grambling gets big then MAYBE an extra 60. Gram has to work on getting the low brass back up like the 2006 band.some bands come to a point to where they have to rebuild again and this time its Gram thats at there Rebuilding stage right now.but as long as gram progress and not regress then they will have a good season in 09.
Southern- no matter what they went thru this year and all that. We all know the deal.Dont nobody care lol.they still gonna recruit and still gonna b a force next year.i predict they will be about there size in 08 plus maybe another 50 people.now when i say same size to all these bands thats meaning that size in 08 as if they KEPT EVERYONE.
Jackson-i think jackson will get a tad bigger.i really think they will keep there numbers and focus on replacing lost people after this year and rebuilding there btone section.
++++as far as everyone is concerned...it seems like in 08 EVERYBODY lost tubas. so i think everyone need to really focus on that aspect and make sure that there upperbrass balance out with their low brass.
i cant say too much about the MEAC.i know it seem like a lot if people forget about them but they have a nice handfull of bands. i think the top 5 for the Meac next year are gonna be
