For the game between Alcorn and Prarie View, Prairie View fans, would you like for the Sounds of Dynomite to come to your campus? My purpose of asking is because i have never witnessed the Sounds of Dynomite and the Marching Storm go head to head.

Alcorn used to travel to PV a looooonnnggg time ago, but when PV stopped visiting other bands Alcorn stopped going and used that money for other trips. IDK if they will come this year though, BUT PV is gonna have to start coming to the Reservation. It would be a great battle though
PV owes Alcorn a trip. The last time the two bands met was in 2000...but neither band got to play because of bad weather. So both bands were cooped up in the Baby Dome, kickin it. We could have at least had a battle in the Baby Dome...lol
i did not know they met that year, but it would be lovely to see them together.
Not trying to be funny about the issue. But things with your administration for years needed to be fixed. It is not fair to have a band problem and you guys can't travel. Only time we see PV is the Honda and Football Classics. You need to tell your Alumni to STEP UP!!!!!!!!!!!
i totally agree with you 100 percent! things have been going crazy with our alumni, and they do not donate enough money to our foundation, and that's why we do not have enough scholarships for the students who achieve in academics or extracurricular activities such as sports, band, etc. as i said, i agree with you totally and you have made your point very clear and well.
well....from a reliable source, the band signed a contract with the football team...So, there is a strong possibility SOD will make the trip this year.......

Nope...there was no battle. Just a bunch of (Royal) Purple and Gold uniforms walking around...kicking it in the Baby Dome...lol
