WOW. now this was when the battle of the bands was THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS!! I was in the 7th grade at this battle lol. Man GSU was INTENSE. you can see the killer mentality on them boys face and the z's were out of control!!! lol. this was like one of the last "unpredictable" years of the bayou classic botb. Now its to the point where I'm starting to feel like I'm not getting my money's worth so I dont know if the BOTB will have my support in the near future. Its like you're paying for a "su showcase" lmao. with that said.....su when yall gonna STOP DENYING JSU's request for a Battle the friday night before the Boombox classic LIKE YALL DID THIS PAST YEAR!!??? I was ready to march that this past fall! Don't worry, Murray should be asking yall again this year, hopefully yall will ACCEPT..LUV DA BOOM!! (yeah, i put it out there lol)

3. "it would take ANTICIPATION away from the game" (as if that ever mattered in band lol)
2. we battle during the game...lol
1. lastly, the good old "we don't have the money" line...(as if Murray didn't tell Jackson the money would get split between BOTH bands)

we can beat up on 8 trombone marching GSU, can go all the way to Tenn State and go at it, can find the money to get to atl for HONDA (they do pay for the hotel, so I give yall HOTEL STAY) but WHEN THE BOOM WANNA BATTLE...those are the reasons we said NO.......ROTFLMFAO!!!
