Is it me or do bands have like BCS rating example Texas and Ohio State ranked in the top ten every year. SU and JSU are at 1 & 2 every year... Before the first note is evem played... was up with that

Unlike football programs in which if u have 2 or three good recruiting classes u r usually set for about 8 years band programs are different u need more parts and generally speaking many people don't march 3 or 4 years anymore unlike football where you have to stay at least three years
There are certain bands that are just consistently good. Some years may have been weaker than others, but those bands always produce quality performances.
