best high school marching band/concert band/drumeline in houston 2010-2011

So who do yall think is the best high school band in houston, not only marching band, but also drumeline, and concert (concert uil is coming up soon), this thread is not meant to talk down on anyone, or anything its all opinion, no smack talk please or ill close the thread

Marching bands

1.Jeff Davis- Cleanest, Loud, unique song book, always surprised me

2.Westbury-Clean, Loud, always the "forgotten" band, but them kids are good at what they do

3.Worthing-Clean, Small yet loud and powerful, clean

4.Austin-sounds pretty good, unbalanced at times, but overall good, did great at california

5.Hightower-switched from corp to show style, loud due to their size but still real clean, i think as they get more adjusted they are going to become a top competitor

Honorable mentions: Waltrip, Clean, Excellent field shows, very nice organized and disciplined band

NOTE: 2010-2011 has been a great season for bands, probably the best since the "houston band deppresion" Every school has been improving, jones, yates, sam houston etc. every has made great improvements, everyone should be proud of how this year turned out

Drumlines w/o explanations

1. Austin

2. yates

3. westbury

4. worthing

5. davis

6. sam houston

Concert band

none for now

i did add waltrip to my honorable mention, westside i havent heard, and i personally didnt think sharpstown sounded all that good when i heard them, i analyze my band, on the how clean and in tune they are, they music book, and their level of playing and when i used the term loud, noticed i added clean, to it, for example, no offense to austin, when they play low, they sound clean, but when they take it up thats when all the unbalancedness (if thats a real word) starts up, bands that i put loud for sound clean when they are loud

Waltrip and Westside have two great concert bands, Sharpstown has a well developed overall program. But of course, all three are predominantly corp style.

I just would just request to analyze your bands with a different mindset.

Hmnn Honestly i think Sam Houston Deserves mention them boys been turning up the heat this year, saw them at the smack down liked their sound, balanced and clean.

Drumlines in my opinion (no offense)

1.Austin

2.Sam

3.Yates

4.Worthing

5.North forest

6.Davis

7.Worthing

8.Westburry

I saw several good Drumline battles this year

But the funniest probably was Sam (T.H.D. i believe ive heard them shout it forgive me if i heard wrong) vs JJ

JJ stepped up to Sam and got smashed to pieces (Wish i could see the footage)
