Best Sections in HBCU bands

SIAC This past year:

FVSU - Tie between trumpets and trombones

Albany - Trombones

Morehouse - Tubas

Tuskegee - Baritones

Clark - Baritones

Kentucky State - Didn't see them

Stillman - Didn't see them

Miles - Didn't see them

SU trumpets will NEVER be the best section at SU.... it will ALWAYS be either Mellos or Btones

It took me a while to decide on them because in person its not really one section that sticks out they all kinda blend together but yea their Btones and Mellos are pretty good

Well I don't know about never, but the b'tones normally stick out to me.

JSU-Trombones

TNSU-Tubas

TXSU-Mellos

UAPB-Baritones

AAMU- Baritones

ASU- Mellos

MVSU-Tubas

GSU- Nothing!

WHOA !!! SCSU-Tubas ???? i mean they sound good but have serious timing issues I think it should Be SCSU-Trombones....and yea FAMU is too blended in but if I had to decide I would say Trumpets for FAMU

UAPB- B-Tones Mellos

Grambling- from the limited times i've seen them i say B-tones

SU- B-Tones Mellos

JSU- Bones Trumpets

Alcorn- Tubas

Valley- Tubas

ASU- Bones Mellos

AAMU- Bones B-tones

TNSU- Tubas B-tones

FAMU- Woodwinds B-Tones

BCU- Tubas Bones

SCSU- i'm not sure yet lol

Trumpets....NSU 2002, 2003, and 2005 = Equally all my favorite

Mellos....SU 2008 (pre-hazing investigation)

Bones....seen alota good sections from various years of SU, FAMU, JSU, and BCC

Euphs/Btones....easily NSU (honda 07) & SU (Boombox 2003)

Tubaz....VSU (2004-08), JSU 98, GSU 00, Alcorn 02, FAMU (various years), NSU 09

Clarinets...Famu (various years)

Pics....JSU (2004...i think thats the year wit dat tall arse wb)

Saxes......FAMU 95 hands down!

Percussion.... JSU(Bethea years) & NSU (Bethea Years)

Drum Majors Easily JSU 2005 & 2006

Jsettes....2003 (just had to call one?!?!)
