I think Jsu will come back stronger because of the mess up last Sunday. If the bands say across from each other at Crankfest, the battle would been way better. Su will try to come in early as always but this year I've noticed for the home games, the boom has arrived at the stadium @4. So Zero Quarter should be about 45 min. I just hope Jsu doesn't play their good songs early(Needed Me, Father Stretch My Hands, Summer 16, Scared Of the Dark) I hope either band plays 24K magic by Bruno Mars.
The number of songs these bands learn is just unreal compared to back in my day. Of course, they are motivated so the band members give it their all, especially when you know you're going up against your arch rival and you have hot new music put in front of you, either hot old school music or hot new school tunes. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that the Boom will answer the Box's Something in My Heart with their own classic and will generally go ham against the Box. It's gon be lit both on the field, in the zero, and in the 5th.
I agree Section Leader! It's truly amazing how deep both of these bands books are. Going to really enjoy seeing both sitting across from each other. Just listening to them at crankfest,this has the potential to be one of their best battles in a while. The boom should be even better because they had just played a game the night before and im sure their lips were worn but they still brought it and they'll be fresh this go around as well as the jukebox! I'm pumped and love both bands!!
When Su plays Ready or Not, Jsu should play Try Again. When Su plays Contolla, Jsu plays Needed Me. Su plays Tourist, Jsu plays Summer '16. Both bands need to hit each other with that fire to keep the battle going.
