I cant wait until this season gets started !!! Most people cant wait until the most popular game in band world and even football JSU vs. SU aka The BoomBox Classic. Now What i was wondering was how do you think it will be this year since Its in Baton Rouge coming from a Bandhead's point of view ? Im use to sitting in the neutral zone of Memorial Stadium where you can get a good angle of both bands and where you can get the best footage. I really dont like the way it will be set up in Baton Rouge as far as the away band being in the corner and SU being in the middle. As for footage You cant really get any good footage of The away band in SU's stadium. So what do you think about the BoomBox 2011 ??? Any predictions ??? Any strategies on getting good footage ???? Comments Please...

You actually can get good footage of an Away band in Mumford if you sit on SU side because the band in the corner is facing you but as for anything else its going to be a problem. You can't get on the field during the 5th so your going to be either in front of SU or JSU

I hate That Too ! It just all worked better in Memorial Stadium
Probably do a "mix tape". Have two people recording and combine the footage during the editing. That will take longer than expected, but it will produce the best quality of it.
I doubt the Zero quarter will be as long as previous years since its the third game of the season.
No, because you have season ticket holders that sit those seats. Our stadium is one of the few in the SWAC where there really isn't a visitor's side. The visitors have a section of seats, everything else is SU.
LOL and its been that way since b4 we were born ..LOL NOBODY gets directly infront of SU at mumford .. lol how bout they put SU in the pocket and let the bands blow at each other in the corner LOL!

With some nice software, that would take 4 hours at the most assuming theyre recording on to a hard drive and not a tape.
Your best bet is to have 2 recorders then combine the footage.
