  • Damn you be on it Sarge I was just about to post this...lol Now they no this is the biggest game of their season and they want to play it in little ole Lorman...smdh Oh well I guess everyone gonna have to leave hours in advance to get to the game on the 2 lane road leading to Lorman...

  • This will be a logistical disaster......

  • But at least for that weekend the local economy should get a significant boost

  • And here goes Mable with this shyt again....lmao

  • Good job.. Now Alcorn can start bak making the thousands of dollars Jackson State snatches from them fa playin the Classic in Jackson every year.. Them Jackson n!ggaz fa ya... F^^k that!!!! GOOD MOVE!!!... We could definely use a few thousand more seats tho..

  • I'm with ya Alcorn. If its more profitable to have in lorman, Make your money.
  • Being a former SU student, and having attended the SU-Alcorn games in 2006, 2008, and 2010, the campus is ABSOLUTELY NOT SUITABLE to host BIG games. Being stuck on that 2-lane highway leading into Alcorn's campus for TWO AND A HALF HOURS is not cool at all.

On a bright note, the ATMOSPHERE is absolutely amazing for big games. But parking would be atrocious. Even at SU, they have some PARKABLE GRASS, Alcorn has to many ditches, terrain challenges to maximum grass-parking.

I think they paid WAAAAAAAAY too much attention on the possible money aspect of having the game on campus, and not about the PEOPLE. there is absolutely NOTHING to do near Alcorns campus. No clubs, hotels, eating places, NOTHING. Im sure both Jackson St and Alcorn St students didnt mind the game in Jackson.

Not only are alot of students from Jackson, so they would be staying home after the game, but im sure MOST students appreciate that vast things and activities to do in Jackson before and after the game.

They will see that this will be an absolute nightmare. Of course school officials wouldnt know anything about that, because they would most likely already be on campus, and can just walk to the stadium, and have no idea how horrible it is to get on Alcorns campus for a BIG game. smh.

  • Come on now, you know they have that Ryans nearby that had us using paper plates and plastic utensils. lol. I can remember in 2006 looking out the band bus window and seeing a lot of cars stuck in the mud after it rained during the game.

  • And in 2010 as well. I remember cause I was one of them.. lol
