Can you admit when another band has gotten the W over you in a battle?

Old school and new band members believe that their college band was or is the best in the land during their years there. No other band could get the better of yours, but can you admit when another college band got the better of you. We have used the expression blown out but for the sake of this discussion got the better of you, on the field with their whole show and in the stands with their folder of music? No matter what you threw at them, they can they came better that day. Name that year and opposing band that bruised your ego during particular battle. If you marched for or are a fan of an hbcu band it has happened to you at some point no matter how good you thought you were and are. For this discussion put your pride and ego aside and describe what unfolded

Behind closed doors maybe....I'm getting better at admitting it tho. It's not much u can hide from yourself that others don't know. Just means u got more work to do....

  Lost the battle not the war. It makes it want to go H.A.M. the next time you face that band. Especially when you got your tail handed to you in front of your on crowd

I can... and I admited to TXSU getting the best of us (Boom 2000) in the stands..lol those lil punks was going in... we slept on em, but still JSU is the better band...

I can always admit defeat. i aint gonna go around talkin about it, but if you ask, i can admit it... THIS QUESTION NEEDS TO GO OUT TO THEM SORRY ASS SU CATS (yeah i am starting it).... ask them they never lost a battle ever...
