Closing topics in the Forum

I don't know why some mods do it, I mean take the O.P.Walker is the best thread, it was going fine IMO but it was closed.

IMO as long as its not verbally offensive then it should stay open just be cause the topic was had over and over again doesn't mean that it is unworthy of a post especially if its a hot topic.

IMO this is a message board and it thrives of messages it's what keeps the board valid is the intense debates...

From who's leading the silver star steppers to who's drum major at Virginia Union it doesn't matter keep the discussion open...

anyways that my take on the whole situation how yall feel?

depends, I didn't close that one though. it was hot... IMO some folks just don't want to let things die though. cant have 7 threads about the same subject too ya know... those threads are quick to be deleted.

I ain't a mod of course...but i think as long as it doesn't get real ugly like the LLI vs SOD debacle then it should stay open unless it's a repeat of a recent thread. As far as the OPW/STA thing..arguments like that are gonna happen as long as those bands keep meeting...isn't that what this forum is for anyway? I know i'm one of the main people keeping that thread going, but it isn't as heated as it seems. I'm not pissed at anybody on there, I just love a good debate.lol.

After goin back and reading it, I can kinda see why it was closed by then again I don't agree with why. It was getting pretty redundant, but we let things get like that, at times, in other forums.

Its become a recurring thing on here when people just blurt out "we the best! we blew on so and so. so we number one". Stuff like that will just lead to 6 pages of back and forth pride fights. Alot of them have valid points in them, some not so much and you can see its gonna go no where.

FYI: I closed the one bout OPW being the best.... i think thats the one yall tambat

What if y'all go to the 100 response rule? Then if they want to keep it going, they can make a Part 2, 3, 4, etc. As long as there's no personal attacks and ignorance, and the topic fits that forum, them them post.

Merging simultaneous topics is cool. Some people might have posted at the same time and were unaware.
