College Percussionist

iight one of the schools im looking to attend for college plays on a whole different style[like technique] on what i play now..like my high school we play on more of a bama state style..so i was wondering like say if i wanted to attend jackson state..will they teach me like how to play more like them in pre-drill?..or will i have to do learn a whole different style on my own?..

  • they will teach you how to play like them......if the line is any good that is....but if you still can't cut the style, you'll sit down some games....if u still can't get the style, its either cymbals or band phi manager *lol*

  • If u are a hard worker and confident in your own skills as a percussionist then I say go for it. Good is good anywhere. But if you're not u don't need to come here anyway.....
