  • As far as closetest the orginal version im going to go with A&T and Howard.

As for the up tempo Famu and MBC. Never knew MBC played it up tempo too.

ITs funny most of these videos i know are old cause last i checked i remember SU having the best arrangement IMO.

Half of the arrangements on the tape, while i understand every band adds there own little stank on it, where just off for me. I mean some of those keys were just way off.

I might be a tad bias though because this was one of my favorite songs to play.
  • Morris Brown had the best arrangement by far. I like the musicality.
Southern is second. Very intense but Morris Brown's bridge was much nicer with the woodwinds.
TXSU could have a monster one if they put the bridge.
Howards was nice, they just dont have the instrumentation.

EVerybody elses was just a knockoff of SU and MBCs arrangement.
  • Ayantee
  • HU & MBC best versions
ASU nice mixing two songs together "Strange" I think that was the song
    SU - intense but basic
    FAMU - basic
DSU - mix between HU & SU...doesn't work
    TXSU - nice breakdown
    ASU (bama) - basic
NCAT - HU with more parts
    SCSU - MBC sped up
  • Im bias, so as far as ARRANGEMENTS go, Howard has the best one in my opinion. The current band just needs to PLAY that arrangement CORRECTLY.

A&T had a nice arrangement but they change Skin and Neck every few years so I cant speak on what they have now. TxSU has a good veresion also.

Does Bama State still play Skin Im In?
