alot of people do not care for the dance routine at all but the dance routine does play a big part of a show band show, it can honestly make or break your show. WH0 YALL THINK HAVE THE BEST IN THE SWAC SO FAR THIS SEASON1.grambling(creativity in the dance routines different steps an moves)2. texas southern/uapb( uapb improved big time on this part from 02 wen i first saw em)3.pvu( dont care for the horns on the grounds but they do be nice)4.jackson ( dont care for them @ all on dances but they do have energy sometimes)5.southern( they really dont care for it) but they do be funny)6.alcorn( getting better on this lol)7 aamu (they be crunk but i only saw one this whole season mainly)8 bama st( boring but better than valley9 valley ( improving on this yearly)these are my opinions wat are yalls.

What serious band member really cares about the dance routine? The drill is what is important, the dance routine is meant to be the icing on the cake, not the main feature.
thats why i said the dance routine can make or break ur show like su drilling is wat dey do datz why da the dance routine lacks. example i heard people say they dance routine was weeak but the drill was nice. it can make or break ya show

True the drill is the most important but the dance routine is a big aspect of a halftime show though most bands in the SWAC are lacking in that area with the exception of Grambling and Prairie View! The problem with some HBCU bands is they are only putting their time and energy into one area of the show or they don't put enough time in to their driliing! The fans want to see a complete show from start to finish! The Dance Routine needs to be just as creative and entertaining as the drill! Some of you folks need to seriously escape from the boxes that you are in!

I think you forgot one. Bethune Cookman has the cleanest dance routines in the country. All of their dance steps are syncronized and of course their music is always sounds clean during the dance routine.
they not n da swac!!! so i didnt forget and bcc music sound kinda funny their rap dont even sound like the song some times but they do have ok dance routines in the country they are in the top 3 and 4 but kinda iffy at times but they not n da swac
